| ANCIENT CHINA Experience everyday life in Ancient China without leaving your school building. Step back in time to the Bronze Age at the crossroads of many new discoveries i.e. silk, bronze, even chop sticks !!!. During this informative, hands on workshop students will participate in a guided tour though the home of the Tang family and will gain insight into many aspects of Chinese culture. ( Individual classes - 1 hour ) Program highlights: Students will: Experience the kitchen for food tasting, and assisting with kitchen chores. Step into the merchants showroom, to put on the clothing and accessories of the time and weigh items for sale on a bronze scale. Enjoy the music room and participate in a wonderful ancient Chinese folktale. Visit the school room to practice calligraphy. |
